Glowfield

Privacy policy

Effective 12 October 2026. Last changed 13 October 2026 (the Windows version, the Microsoft Store and the access code before the site opens).

Glowfield is made by Apps To Go ApS, an app studio in Denmark (CVR 39048507). Questions: support@appstogo.dk.

The short version

Glowfield collects no personal data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting of its own and no server. The game never sends anything about you anywhere.

What stays on your device

Your progress (levels finished, stars, the pictures in your gallery) and your settings (sound, haptics, graphics level) are saved on the device you play on, in the app's own storage. They are not synced through us. Deleting the app deletes them.

Purchases

The Full Game unlock is sold through Apple's App Store (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV) or Google Play (Android). Apple or Google handle the payment and keep the purchase record under their own privacy policies; we receive no name, address or card details. The game asks the store whether the purchase is owned and keeps only a yes or no on the device. Restore purchase asks the store again. See Apple's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.

Third-party code

None that collects data. Glowfield uses only Apple's and Google's own frameworks (StoreKit on Apple platforms, Google Play Billing on Android). No analytics, advertising or crash-reporting kit is included. The Windows version talks to no network at all: it has no purchase and uses only Windows' own components for the window, graphics, sound and controllers.

Store statistics

Apple, Google and Microsoft show us aggregated download, crash and sales figures from their stores. Those are collected by the stores under their own terms, are not tied to you by us, and we cannot look anyone up in them.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, children included.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted, and you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet). Since the game sends us nothing, there is nothing about you we could look up or hand over, but questions are welcome at support@appstogo.dk.

This website

Until the site opens, it has one form, the access-code field on its coming-soon page, and it sets one cookie only if you enter the right code (next section). Otherwise it sets no cookies, and it loads nothing from other companies; the typeface, the pictures and the trailer are served from this site. It is delivered by Cloudflare Pages, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect against abuse, under the Cloudflare privacy policy. If visit counts are ever switched on, they will be Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, and this page will say so first.

Before the site opens: the access code

Until glowfield.appstogrow.app opens, its pages are shown only to people with an access code; the privacy, terms and support pages stay public. Everyone else sees a short “coming soon” page with a field for the code.

If you enter the right code, the site sets a cookie named __Host-glowfield_gate. It keeps you signed in on that browser for 30 days and is sent only to this site. It holds a value worked out from the code, nothing about you. It is strictly necessary for the sign-in you asked for, so it needs no consent. If you never enter the code, no cookie is set. To sign out, open /_gate/lock or delete the cookie in your browser.

Changes

If a future version of the game ever collects more than this page describes, this page changes first and the date at the top moves.
